While our Constitution does not empower the federal government to manage education of US citizens, it is certainly important that politicians not do anything to impede the dissemination of useful knowledge. And since our federal government has inserted itself into the role of creating educational policy nationwide, it is, for the time being, important for our President and other leaders to understand what works and what doesn’t, and the opportunities available.
