The United States has major populations of virtually every race, culture, and national origin in the world. In addition to native populations, our economic prosperity and rule of law have made us a magnet for immigrants, brought here either by the desire to share in that prosperity and stability, or during the dark years of our history as involuntary slaves to provide that prosperity to their owners. While diversity of race has resulted in rich cultural heritages, there are also many challenges surrounding issues of race. These books can help a President to understand those issues related to race and the potential solutions.
